Jay is a 1989 graduate of the University of North Dakota. He worked as a CPA in public accounting for 12 years in Minnesota and North Dakota before accepting God’s calling to serve as Business Administrator at Our Redeemer’s in September of 2001. Jay uses his gifts by providing administrative and financial leadership and facility management to help the church fulfill its mission. He enjoys motorcycling and spending time with his family. Jay and Karen have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren.

Jeff joined our staff in August 2019. He has taught high school social studies at Midkota Public School and is completing his Master's degree in Educational Administration from the University of Mary in May 2020. Jeff and his wife Lisa are from Cooperstown, ND and have four sons.

Julie grew up on a small farm near Fertile, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed in the Missouri Lutheran Synod and has found a church home here at Our Redeemer's. In December 2021, Julie married Elmer Nelson. Through this blended family, she has four adult children, two granddaughters, and three grandsons. You will find the Nelsons watching the grandkids in sports and the arts, camping, enjoying Arts in the Parks, or just hanging out with their dogs.

Mandi grew up in Bismarck, ND, and has been a part of Minot and Our Redeemer's community since 2007. She started her current role at the church in 2018. Her desire to play an active role in shaping her son's faith led her to volunteer in various positions within Children's Ministry before joining the staff. Through her volunteer work, God equipped her for her current position supporting families in nurturing children's understanding of the Gospel and growth in their relationship with Jesus. Mandi enjoys music, movies, and spending time at the lake on her pontoon during the summer. Her greatest joy is spending time with her son, Austin.

Josh grew up here in Minot and has been a regular attender at Our Redeemer's for most of his life. He and his wife Rebecca have three kids: Kaleb, Madison, and Logan. In his spare time he enjoys target archery, bow hunting and woodworking. 

Care Ministries Director

Cindy is a Minot native and a long time member of Our Redeemer's Church. She spent 22 years as teacher/director of Our Redeemer's Preschool. She now oversees our five care ministries: People Care, Vet Care, Cancer Care, Hope Fellowship and PAL. Cindy has two adult children and two grandsons. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, fishing and spending time at her lake cabin.

Eric is a Minot native. He graduated from Minot State University - Bottineau with a degree in Cisco routing. With a love for Jesus and a wide variety of computer backgrounds, he will help Our Redeemer's share the message through his gifts in technology. He and his wife, Heather, have two children Michael and Ella. In his spare time he enjoys retro video gaming and woodworking.
